With Gale's jacket and my new chops, I look like a scrawny Wolverine. I look like Wolverine-Boy or somtheing equally rediculous. HP 5 trailer is conna be on Happy Feet, which I will see within the next two days. *giddy*

Guitar Hero 2 for the win. I"m writing a show for public access along with Brian and Marc-OS. I'm having some trouble on the pilot though.

Kittens.

For a while I thought I'd stopped enjoying movies, but then realized that we haven't had good movies since like July. Stupid me. Stranger Than Fiction is cute.

I checked out Shanghai Shanghai's myspace page. They rock out, with cocks fully exposed. check it...

Just Like Heaven [Oct. 16th, 2006|03:39 am]
Give me my girl license, because I cried like a child at the end of that movie. I don't think Mark Ruffalo is dreamy though. I mean he's not a CHUD or anything, but he's definitely no Robert Redford.

On another note, I'm going to be a disenfranchised veteran, OF THE FUTURE!, for Halloween.

I'm dissapointed [Oct. 8th, 2006|04:37 pm]
Apparently this image was released well over two weeks ago, and this is the first I'm hearing about it... Whatever happened to my LJ friends who post HP pix religiously. Who giggle and bounce just thinking about raddish earrings and hippogriphs. To think, I've been bumbling along in quiet ignorance not knowing the sheer awesomeness of Dumbledore's Army )

My 90's Mix is coming along nicely. I have 17 songs, I might put more on there, I don't want to bog it down though.

My brother is coming to visit for the day but I don't think I'll see him much. (single tear) But that's what happens when they're going drinking and you lose your wallet. Oh well, time to vaccum.

Billy Crudup reminds me of Sean Maher. Or maybe Sean Maher reminds me of Billy Crudup. Either way, they're both dreamy. I love people who love Buffy.

'something pretentious' [Aug. 14th, 2006|09:42 pm]
I'm happy. It's been a while since I've been this happy. It's been a while that I've had something I can get behind emotionally. While my job at the theater became the first thing I've ever felt I'd earned, there's only so much placed in a dead end customer service job. This new feeling inspires me to get my shit together. Write, read, exercise, eat well, go back to school, plan and don't muck about with my life and future. I hope it lasts. It's complicated, but I guess the best things are.

On another note, county fairs are gross, but fun.

A Year Has Past [Jul. 20th, 2006|02:25 pm]
Changes

In July 2005 I worked at Livebridge, got drunk, watched Buffy/Firefly and listened to Mellencamp's "Hurts So Good."

IN July 2006 I work at City Center, get high, watch Doctor Who and listen to Abba's "Gimme Gimme Gimme."

The speed at which things change. If I don't stop and look around, I might miss it.

What up [Jul. 20th, 2006|02:17 pm]
You know what's better than Monster House? The trailer for Monster House.

I've started listening to some Billie Piper music just to explore all avenues of my Doctor Who fixation. It's not very good music, sorry Billie, I still love you! However "Because We Want To" still made my playlist, so thumbs up there. Also "Because We Want To" is in an episode of Spaced, I believe S1 E4, but I'm not sure.

I miss the Doctor, that's all.

Why I rock [Jul. 8th, 2006|01:57 pm]
1> I can spell Caribbean and Inconvenient without really thinking about it.

2> I can be really lazy at work and still appear hardworking.

3> I've memorized several cast lists, even shows I don't like.

4> My body isn't affected by the sun's rays. 4 hours a day, outside, in the sun and I'm the same pale ole' me.

5> I watched 7 seasons of BTVS in less than two months.

6> I can sing Rainbow Connection like Kermit the Frog.

7> I used to take faking sick to an art form. And suddenly I lost it, like I grew a conscious or a sense of responsibility or something stupid.

8> I can play stoned Cranium like nobody's business.

9> I can eat a whole Monte Cristo sandwich in one sitting.

10> I've seen every major summer release in an empty theater several days before it's release.

SUPPOSEDLY if you've seen over 85 movies, you have no life. Mark the ones
you've seen. There are 163 movies on this list. Put your score in the header and repost:

I've seen 132; they're mostly shit. )

Thank you Wikipedia [Jun. 12th, 2006|03:34 pm]

When the folks are away... [Jun. 7th, 2006|04:19 pm]
I sit at home in my own filth and read. I feel like a kid again. I haven't read like this since I was 15. Wizard of Earthsea, Astonishing X-Men, Neverwhere, god I love Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

I don't like to write it though. It always just seems stale when I try to write it. I dunno. Dr. Who is awesome. Went to Happy Land with the gang, need to find a way to upload the pics. I'm closing by myself tonight and I'm nervous. It's weird, I felt perfectly comfortable in projection, but anytime I'm on the floor I get butterflies; I figured it would be the other way round.

I like being in Vancouver. I'll always have a place in my heart for Olympia and The Evergreen State College, but it was never my path. It was the path I was taught I could never have so a grabbed at it, but I didn't actually want it. I grew up too fast, I just want to be a kid for while.

KITTENS! [Jun. 4th, 2006|02:48 am]
Are adorable, more on that later.

I've been getting into a lot of stupid movie arguments, partly because only stupid movies are playing. But today everyone said MI: 3 sucked, while Poseidon was good. I flipped out. I usually just don't comment, because I mean hey, who wants to hear "You're taste sucks"? But in this case I could not let it slide. I mean, Poseidon?!!?

I can't find my copy of Wizard of Earthsea and I was really getting into it. : (

Brandon's baby is cute. I'm not too into babies, but this one is adorable, and it's been asleep everytime I've seen it so that's a plus.

Kittens. Cute.

I rented movies [May. 30th, 2006|10:18 pm]
I went to the Hollywood down in Heritage Market to rent some videos. It was down to Winter Passing or Zathura. I rented Zathura. You guys can make fun of me all you want, but it was good. It was just fantastic. And the game design was so 50's modern and I loved IT!

In other news I feel like creating... Which I haven't done in a while. But y'know if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.
